Autism Therapist in Easley, SC | Clinical Director – Upstate Carolina Autism Associates

In-Person & Online Therapy for Autistic Teens, Adults, and Families Across South Carolina

Hi, I’m Tosha Rollins, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist based in Easley, South Carolina, serving individuals and families throughout the Upstate including Greenville, Pickens, Anderson, and surrounding communities.

I specialize in providing therapy and support for autistic adolescents and adults, as well as parents navigating the unique challenges of raising neurodivergent children and young adults. My work focuses on helping individuals understand their minds, regulate their nervous systems, strengthen executive functioning skills, and build meaningful relationships and independence.

As the Clinical Director of Upstate Carolina Autism Associates, I lead a team dedicated to providing neuroaffirming, evidence-informed mental health care for the autism community.

Specialized Autism Therapy for Teens and Adults

Many autistic individuals reach adolescence or adulthood without having received mental health support that truly understands autism. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, respected, and understood.

I work with clients who are navigating:

  • Autism spectrum differences
  • Anxiety and overwhelm
  • Executive functioning challenges
  • Social and relationship difficulties
  • Burnout and sensory overload
  • Identity development and self-understanding
  • Life transitions including college, employment, and independence

Therapy is tailored to the individual and often integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, nervous system regulation strategies, executive functioning coaching, and practical life skills development.

A Neuroaffirming Approach to Mental Health

My clinical approach integrates neuroscience, psychology, and lived experience to support autistic individuals in a way that respects neurodiversity while also addressing real-life challenges.

 I incorporate strategies from:

  • Polyvagal-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Executive Functioning Coaching
  • Mind-Body Regulation Strategies
  • Strength-Based and Neuroaffirming Counseling

Rather than trying to “fix” autistic traits, therapy focuses on helping clients better understand their nervous systems, build confidence, develop coping strategies, and create lives that align with their strengths and values.

Support for Parents and Families

In addition to working directly with autistic individuals, I also support parents and caregivers who are navigating the complexities of raising autistic adolescents and adults.

Parent sessions often focus on:

  • Communication strategies
  • Emotional regulation for both parent and child
  • Executive functioning support at home
  • Healthy boundaries and family dynamics
  • Preparing for adulthood and independence

As a mother of two adult sons on the autism spectrum, I understand both the professional and personal sides of this journey.
